"America. Used to be seperate from them."he responds.

"Oh." she says simply.

"The point being, my past before here or zenon is hazy." He says with a sigh."just the way they want it."

"I'm easy. I've always been here. Steven loves me. I'm not a person. I'm property." she says with a smile,"What's Zenon?"

"Nothing, nevermind. You wouldn't remember it anyway."he has a thought."wait, you don't remember?"

"Remember....?" she asks staring at him tilting her head,"I remember everything I should. Like I said I'm here. I'm nothing. Steven loves me. I do what he says."

He stares with disgust at the door."what have they done to you?" He asks her quietly to himself.

Vyper looks at the door too before looking back at him then back and forth before shaking her head,"Whoa re you talking to?" she asks before flicking her ears,"Me? Nothing out of the normal. Same routine every week. Not a minute out of place. Except for Jay. She committed suicide last week."

"Jay?whose Jay?" He asks. It came as no surprise for him that shed killed herself. He'd kept himself from doing the same many a time. He didn't need to ask why.

"I don't know. Some experiment. I heard her murmuring to herself then he struggling to hold the chain around her neck long enough.... She tried 8 times then...silence." she says with a far away look. Before shaking her head,"Lucky girl." she growls.

"Hmph." He replies and lays down.

"I've tried. Didn't work. I guess I'm meant to suffer." she says inching over toward and rolled up her sleeves revealing cris crossed tell-tell knife slices across her wrists. And held them out to him. One of them barely 3 days old. Most of them cut veins but Dr. Dart always found be and fixed me up. It pissed me off." she says not realizing she said the name of the Medic for Zenon.

/those are ugly scars/ he thinks, /wonder what she... wait, did she just say..."Doc Dart?" When she said the name of the corpsman, his head snapped up."you remember him?"

"Sure. Short old man. He's around here. I think." she says with a nod before thi king again and nodding. "He yelled at me the other day becUse I wasn't eating."

/the doc is here? What the...?/he thinks with a worried look on his face. He settles back down,going deep into thought.

"He's always happy. He's been here for years... Atleast maybe 8." she says walking over to the railing and looking at Jim before whimpering,"You dot like being next to me do you." she says looking down at her feet.

"To be honest? Ive had worse cage neighbors." He says,still pondering./the Doc?you know what?at this point, nothing could surprise me anymore./

"I've never had a cage neighbor. I've been here ever since I can remember. I was born here. And they never gave me a buddy." she says,"What ever you do don't touch my bars. They hurt! Your should be fine! Buddy advice of the day! What's you name Buddy?"

He looks surprised then regains composure."jack. Jack Ryland."

"Jack Ryland" she says slower feeling the familiarity of pronouncing the name. She walks over to the side if the cAge that is nearest to him. She looks at him before really intently looking at him,"You know-"

Steven barges in he takes the key from his neck and unlocks the girl. "Hello sweetheart." he croons" Hello Mutt." e growls.
"His name is-" He pulls the female out of her cage by the stretchy skin on her neck causing her eyes to blank at his touch. and the word exape at her lips.
Pryo glances noticing her reaction to his touch. Pyro glances at Jack.

"Now look. That Mutt has fleas. You mustent let him touch you. " he says holding her close. "Steven says in a soft voice. He carries her out and slamms the door.
Pyro walks over to Jadens cage.

"Yea, what about it?"

Putting a finger to his lips. "It's absolutely infuriating. Eitherway her torture begins today. " he says grimly.

"Call me mutt one more time mongrel, and we are going to have a serious problem."jack says calmly,covering the slowly boiling rage that was building inside of him."besides, I'm not a dog, I'm clean shaven, and Im in one of the most highly trained units of the military on the planet. Now tell me I have fleas again and see how many OTHER ways I can prove you wrong." He says before Steven clears the room.
Afterwards he responds."I don't know. She started to recognize me earlier, but as soon as HE came in and touched her it vanished."

"You think maybe if you touched her?" he asks looking toward the door not even wanting to imagine what thy are doing to her. He closed his eyes and whispers,"What can I do to help you guys get out?" he asks

"I don't know right now. However I need a way to contact Zenon. Though I hate it, they seem to be the only option right now."
